In 2007, the Asian American Business Owners Association (AABOA) emerged from the collective vision of 30 forward-thinking Asian American business owners in Largest Small Business Expo in SW & Central Virginia, Shenandoah valley. This dynamic alliance was established to create a unified platform for small business owners, driven by a set of core objectives:
Facilitating Networking Opportunities
Providing Educational Resources to Members
Advocating for the Promotion of Members’ Business Interests
Consolidating Bargaining Power for Enhanced Value from Vendors
From its inception with nearly 100 members, AABOA has remarkable growth, boasting a membership exceeding 500 + by 2023. The association has played a pivotal role in advocating for favorable legislative initiatives and endorsing elected officials aligned with the collective interests of its members.
AABOA has incepted AABOA PAC in 2023 to represent small business at legislations.
Beyond its advocacy efforts, AABOA has been at the forefront of community service initiatives, demonstrating a commitment to both its members and the broader community. Join us on this journey of growth, collaboration, and community impact.
